Dedication (or "Global Warming, My A$$)

I am sitting outside with a down jacket on, winter hat all so I can celebrate a little alone time (no husband or toddler around) and the finishing of my husband's religion class (for which I just finished writing the last 6 page paper). I'm smoking a La Aroma de Cuba (only thing in my humidor I feel comfortable smoking with a stuffy nose--I have four of them and everything else I want to be able to savor) and loving it.

There was a high of 41 degrees today and it freakin' snowed on May 1. This is freaky even for Minnesota.

Now I just am looking forward to The Family Guy. It'll be a good night from here on out.

And I don't have to worry about putting ice in my drink.

Cigar is good but can't feel my hands... Wish it was an ascot or wish I could start the patio furniture on fire.

I think we'll have to start a Family GUy thread tomorrow for all the cigar-smokers watching it.

Crap--husband came home with toddler to inform me that inlaws are coming over. Now I'm cold, loopy and smell like cigars. That's how you impress the inlaws!!!

I know the feeling with the weather. In the past week out here, we've gotten at least 6 inches of snow and nothing higher that 38 degrees. I hate being distracted from a cigar by the cold weather.

Yep, cold here to. We get a warm day or two, for teasers then back to cold and wind. I'm ready for some warm weather, guess it will get here soon enough.

I loathe the cold. If it goes below 50, people around here get out their winter coats. Myself included.

I think I'll stay in the tropics for a while.
