So Cal
I just want to take a moment to thank Thor and everyone else at cigar.com for putting together yet another great newsletter.
I've already read the RTDA / New Orleans article 5 times. I've had the privelege of visiting that magical city numerous times, starting when the Chicago Bears did their Superbowl Shuffle, and your article brought back a million memories. I hope that one day, in the not too distant future, I'll be able to experience the magic of the French Quarter once again.
Another great Cigar 101 piece as well. It should help alot of the rookies and veterans alike to appreciate that finely-rolled piece of heaven so much more.
The article on food / wine pairing was right up my alley.
One of the students in my class hopes to someday become a Master Sommelier, so I'll be bringing her some reading material this coming week.

And don't even get me started on the new smokes coming out :D

Great job guys

The good news is that The French Quarter has survived structurally. The buildings are intact and most will probably survive. It will take quite a spirit and quite a people to inhabit and fill that area again to provide the culture it brought to the nation, up until a week ago. It CAN be done.

The RTDA / New Orleans article is excellent...Great job Thor!!

Thanks guys...It was fun writing it...I was so relieved when I heard the French quarter will be "okay" it broke my heart when Katrina rolled through...
