What a great cigar. I went to my local Tinder Box and bought myself one of these. It was the torpedo maduro. Excellent cigar. No wonder it was rated so highly in CA. 91-92

Try it if you havn't, The shop owner recommended it while I was purchasing the fuente fuente Opux. He said it was even better then the opusx. Can't tell you which was better in my opinion because I didn't end up buying the opusx

IMO the Padron is ready to smoke, the Opux requires some serious lay down time. I prefur the Padron 1964 and the 1926 over the Opus line. The Hemmingway line is a great, ready to smoke from the Dom Rep.

I couldn't agree with you more BigTom. But I do enjoy the occasional ass-beating that a fresh Opus can give. As for the 64's, I've yet to have a bad one, if that's even possible.

Oh, your opinion most definitely does count, and the "Padron 1964" Maduro series is well respected even by staunch Cuban cigar smokers. I wish they weren't so expensive and hard to find because you'd see me mentioning them a lot more. And it seems BigTom and I agree on the Hemingways. What a great cigar that is, right from the store.

I'm still confused about one thing. I know that BigTom47 joined up here at AmBack, but whatever happened to HugeTom94?

Billy, you didn't lay one of those exclusivo maduros on me when I was in Savannah.

i did forget, but i did tell you how i had a little problem with the exclusivos

come back down! we can smoke again and see how drunk we can get off GOOD beer. Although just to make it a proper trip for you i will ask for a bud light at the micro again :D

I enjoy all those PA26's and the 64's, and the opus. It just depends on what mood I'm in when I go to smoke, or where I'm at. Those cigars are so different in flavor and body (opus and Paron's), they are hard to compare, but I'll smoke 'em all! :D
