Back at you CC. Thanks for all you do to make this board what it is, and the same goes to the wonderful moderators and everyone else out there.

Happy New Year to everyone. I have got suckered into going into Times Square tonight. We are going to post up at a bar to bring in the new year with some friends flying in from San Diego. They wanted to go to Times Square, even after telling them it's gonna be cold, and packed!

Scott, its only a million people in a city block. How packed can it be?? LOL. Happy New Year to Amback, Cigar.com and all of the members of the forum. :cheerschug:

What time are you heading down there Scott?
I've gone many times but I always get there very early to get near the front. And don't worry about the cold...it won't take long for your body to go numb
Seriously though, all those people packed tightly together make for one toasty heat source.
Hopefully it won't rain on you guys too much tonight.
Typical holiday weather in Manhattan...your friends from San Diego are either gonna love you or hate you after they experience "The Ball"
Have a great time man!

Happy New Year everyone!!

Cold? It's supposed to go down to 35 degrees tonight, and will probably be about 37, 38 when the ball drops. Cold? :dunno:

Promintory Point has what is called the Winter Steam Festival, they run the steam engines to the point where they drove the golden spike. This the wife and I will be for the most part after that lunch, cigar and a cold beer. Happy New Year!! Utah, Rod.

LOL, I'm going by what everyone in California keeps telling me. It hits 50º out here and people I know sprint for their fireplace, which is pointless.
Calibus cracks me up as well...we'll be out back watching Sunday's games and smoking. It'll be in the 50's, and I'll be sitting there with a light flannel, a t-shirt or a jersey (with all those little holes in it). Then there's Joe, sitting directly in front of a space heater :cryinlaugh:
