Chicago - but dreaming of Havana
At least I think they were Work of Arts. I had three sitting in the drawer. Bigger than the Short Story, which I really like.
Anyway, the first one was a maduro and it was nice but there wasn't much flavor, kind of flat. Great draw. It did have a bit of strength towards the end, but most cigars build a bit. I was kind of shocked that it wasn't more flavorfull. It's probably about 6 years old or so.
I also had two of the same size (I think) that had the barber pole wrapper. I thought they were a bit more flavorfull, but still not what I expected. I do like all of the Hemmingway cigars, and find them all very flavorfull. I wonder if the aging had something to do with the lack of taste. I was told by Carlito that his cigars, Opus X, were meant to be smoked right away and not aged, I wonder if these are in the same ballpark.
