The Matrix?
Angel 100 by Oliva, which is made by 100% Oliva grown tobacco. To be sold only during 2006. Created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Angel Oliva. Medium-Full bodied sticks.

Anyone ever tried one of these?

Interesting note on these as a lot of people get confused. There are two Olivas in the cigar industry. One group is the family that only grows tobacco. They are very famous and grow the ashton vsg wrapper on their farm and grow a lot of other very high quality wrapper. Their history is rich with people like the Eiroas, Padron, and Torano. Today they are mainly based out of FL. This group is commonly reffered to as the Oliva Tobacco Family

The second group is the Oliva Cigar Family which is the one most people are familiar with. This group is seperate from the first and owns the trademark for any cigar showing the name Oliva. They are also major tobacco growers, but unlike the first group, most of the tobacco they grow is used in their own cigars and only a portion of their leaf is sold to other factories. They are however, roughly the second largest tobacco growers in Nicaragua.

The cigar in question in this thread relates to the first group, the Oliva Tobacco Family. It is presumably made with their tobacco in a factory exclusively for JR, presumably in one of their own factories. The reason it is called the Angel 100 and does not actually make mention of Oliva in the title is becuase the Oliva cigar family owns the Oliva trademark.

Anyway I hope this helps clear up any confussion. Most people never realize that there are two different Olivas.

Thanks for the info Alex. I think I'll go on the JR website and see about buying some to try.

Let me know if you find something. I'd like to try them as well.
