I just recieved a order from cigarbid
which included a 5pack of the torano 1916 cameroons.
since i wanted to try these i decided i would lite one up tonight
well i have to say i am not impressed
and since if you dont have anything nice to say you shoudln't say anythign at all, i will just leave it at that

hmmm, I have a 1916 Churchill which has been in one of my humidors for a few years now...I'm still waiting for a positive review before I torch it

Even though I am a huge Cameroon fan, you won't get a positive review from me either.

Are there any Torano cigars that people like? I have one Torano cigar in my coolerdor waiting for me. I'm not sure the exact line and size. I think it is a virtuoso toro.

i should have some casa toranos coming in soon, so ill find out if these are any good

I actually have a few Turano cigars that I have thought to be a good smoke. I have a 1916 in a box press that maybe a churchill, and I have a robusto silver label, can't remember the exact line on it, but both have been good smokes. I wouldn't classify it as a phenomenal smoke, but I've enjoyed them. I'll have to review them again here, maybe this weekend.

i've been way too caught up in my La gloria series R's to smoke any other robusto right at the moment...Mmmm..though I do have an oliva O maduro that I may have to tap soon. 8)

hey capt.
I was just wondering what you think are the best cameroon cigars out there,
I am looking to try some more and would like to avoid getting stuck w/ a few i dislike. i already love the c.com one but am looking to find some more

Other than the Cameroon label, you can't beat the Fuente Hemingway line. I also enjoy the Upmann Vintage Cameroon.

well i said the same think till they sat in my humi for about three weeks....I love them

Railed, that is exactly what I was thinking, maybe you need to let them settle down a bit before you smoke them.

Try another one in a month or so and see if you don't like them better, I have always found that any cigar seems to taste better with a little bit of aging. I have som Wavells that have about 6 months on them now, smoked one two days ago and it was Fantastic!!!

There you go brother!

yeah i think i might let them sit

iohh and i also got a 5 pack of the Upmann Vintage Cameroon so i guess i will have to give those a try

I like Toranos. Especially the the Casa Toranos and Exodus Silvers. I have an 04 Tribute too that beckons to me everytime I look in the humi.

As to the 1916, I've only had one but recall I liked it. It reeked something fierce though.

After reading something Eclipse_man wrote a while back regarding the Tribute line I went ahead and picked up a few which were not disappointing. Unfortunately the rest of Torano's cigars have fallen short on delivery for me, which is why I'm hesitant to spark up the one I have on hand.

Just had the virtuoso forte this morning - it was a GREAT smoke. Well constructed - nutty, robust flavor. I really liked it man. Let me know what you think of it.

I'm really impressed with the regular Exodus 59 line. The torpedo and robusto are excellent. Very complex and balanced. Nice construction with the box press. I'd recommend picking up a few of these and letting them rest for a few months.
