Camacho Special Limited Reserve Maduro Torpedo, 7x54, about $5.75 at the cigar store. Picked one up one day just to try, and I was very satisfied with it. I usually dwell around the muck on the bottom, trying to find a gold nugget among the detritus, not wanting to spend but $2 - I've found some nuggets down there like the 'Nestor' box-pressed torpedo and 'El Mejor Expresso', another box-pressed torpedo. I've bought many higher-priced cigars but most always regret paying that much. The Camacho SLR is 'round, firm and fully packed' as the old cigarette ad went - construction, appearance and feel are excellent. With the firm and tight feel, I expected a tight draw but was pleasantly surprised by the easy pull after cutting off the point. Lighting went as-expected and the easy draw yielded plenty of flavorful smoke. Burn is excellent with no torch 'corrections' needed for the first five smoked. They are very consistent, too. I had one with a medium draw but none that were tight. The cigar goes a little faster than it looks like it would, but this burn rate is perfectly matched to the size, awesome flavor and strength of this cigar. This is a full-bodied cigar. I'm not well-versed in the intricacies of flavors, so I can't say it has a hint of this or that - it just has big flavor and lots of smoke. Every one I've smoked has been a finger-burner, never getting bitter or foul even after I had to remove the band.
My cigar limit is one a day, and I probably won't be treating myself to one of these but maybe once a week. My lesser 'everydays' are still good, particularly at the price, and it's not good to smoke the same cigar all the time - you get too 'familiar' and bored with it. It's better to experience many different cigars so you're always pleased to smoke a really good one.

Heck yeah, the SLR is a good smoke! I think I might like the SLR maduro a little better even. I can't think of a Camacho that I didn't enjoy.
