Ah yes, the chanting of a crowd. The sharing of excitement. I join in as the World chants Ro-cky! Ro-cky! Ro-cky! Do we chant for a boxer from the inner city making his way to the top? Nope. We cheer for Rocky Patel. I never thought I would do this, but Rocky Patel has made a Maduro I just can't deny. The 5 Vegas 'A' was my favorite maduro (and still my everyday choice so far), but I must say now that I have had about 4 or 5 Olde World Reserve Maduro Toro's, that this gem tops the list for my overall favorite maduro smoke. Pricey, and worth it, yet it won't be my everyday smoke, more like a now and then indulgence. Thanks Rocky, you really are a Champion!

The RP OWR is one of my absolute favorite maduros as well. Craig gave one to me when we met for the last box pass and my humidor hasn't been without at least one ever since.
 
The RP Olde World maduro is the only RP cigar I like. I'd smoke one every day if I could afford to. And since I can't, its Cusano paired maduros for me.
 
im gonna have to try one of those this weekend..went to my local cigar shop today and was eyeing one of those but decided on another...the guy at the shop raves about pocky patels
 
The RP Olde World maduro was fantastic! I smoked one yesterday. I'm smoking the Vintage 1990 right now and me like.
 
Had my first (gifted to me by a member of this forum) the other day. It was wonderful. Sweet smoke, slight burnt cocoa and coffee flavors, a nice white ash that held a long time, perfect roll - tight with a effortless draw. The box press is an added bonus, well-done.

What was interesting, was that there was a creamy texture to the smoke on my tongue. Hard to explain.

This is definitely a a stellar smoke.

I have one more waiting for me. It will reside in my humidor for the right moment, and not before. Only wish I knew what that moment was.
 
I got 2 in my humidor. I guess i'll have to break down and try one. I gave one away on my first PIF before I tried one. It was in my humidor for months. I think Dean got it.

They are good, I have smoked them with Rocky in Chicago after the Big Smoke. Alex and I were given a few. They are good.
