Brewed up a pot of half Tanzanian Peaberry and half Bolivian Organic (thanks coffee pass guys!) - this is a very tasty combo!

I love doing those mixes. They're called "monkey mixes" on another web site. That happens a lot when you don't have enough of one type of coffee to make a full pot, and you end up combining two or more coffees. It can be a lot of fun, especially if you write down the percentages. Who knows, if it's good enough, you could come up with a new blend. That's what Mocha Java is, and it's one of the world's favorite coffees.

Heh - the best mix I've ever had involved 8 different coffees - monkey mix like you said. I thought I'd clean house and get rid of all the small bags hanging around.

Wow!!! That beats mine by about four or five coffees. :cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh:

That is weird! I did the same thing today. Mixed Tan. Peaberry with Kenya AA. It was good, but I have had better. Not really sure what to think about it. :dunno:

Yep - I did the same mix and thought it was ok - but not the best by a long shot. But that was a 50/50 mix. I found that both of those go well together if you use one as an accent - I did something like 80/20 each way and they both tasted very good.

Grind some up & bring it to the Qtr.Deck, we can make it in the press pot if it isnt ground to fine, or in the drip pot if you grind it to long, or Just bring the beans & Ican grind it right before we brew it, I am thinking ( dammmm that hurts ) some night in the near future , how about any day After you read this hahahaha , I have been sipping scotch for the past few hours , I feeeeeeeeel Wonderful, & I have beeeeen sipppping coffee along with it, a stimulant & a depresent together, hahaha, kid of a wide awake drunk ! hahaha , enjoy, Vince
