can dry pipe tobacco be...re-humdified?

i have a bunch from c&d but it is drying out. suggestions?

Oh yea. Few was to do it. I have done two of them.

One is just spritz the tobacco witha bit of distilled water and let it sit in a jar or the other way is wet a piece of paper towel and place it in jar with the tobacco and seal the jar. Check it a day or so and repeat if needed.

Putting water directly on tobacco makes me nervous. What I do is put the tobacco in a cereal bowl, and cover with a paper towel that was dampened by distilled water. Make sure the towel does not touch the tobacco.

To keep it happening in the futrute, cover the top of the tins with that press n' seal wrap, then put the lid on.

thanks guys! Mine is in bags though. maybe i'll re-humidify them one at a time.

Just use an apple wedge or 2, depending on the quantity.

I quit smoking my pipe just after I met my now late wife, about 20 years ago.

Also be careful using apple or any other fruit. They can cause your tobacco to mold!
