and I've had it for two, three years? :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

While I'm always suspicious of house brands, occasionally you find good ones. I didn't find this one, it found me. Somebody sent this to me a long time ago, and it's been sitting at the bottom of Desk Top III with the rest of the larger cigars in my collection. This was a scary looking 7x50 cigar, as reddish wrappers usually are the Ecuadoran kind, and they can be pretty strong cigars. One would have thought that sitting around in one of my desk tops for at least a couple years, it might have no strength left, and no flavor.

Wrong on both counts. It had nice spice and sweet, earthy flavors throughout, culminating in a last third where the earthy turned a bit creamy. This was a long smoke, over an hour and a half, and my head is spinning somewhat. A lot of spitting, too. Nice. Someone did me a solid out there. It pays to let some cigars sit around. Good thing I didn't smoke this a year or two ago. I'd be dead.

In the Winter That Wasn't, I haven't smoked many cigars, and now with the change of seasons, and stretching my medicine until I can get some more, it was nice to have such a full, long, satisfying smoke to enjoy the end of this brisk, sunny, beautiful spring day with.

As for the head and the spinning, nothing that a pint of Haagen Dazs Mocha Almond Fudge and two shots of bourbon shouldn't help.

Nice review Bloof, serious to the end, and then the zinger..."two shots of bourbon shouldn't help". I love it!

I am not sure but I think you were smoking a Pedromo made for CI , Nick had a great Rosado wrapper a few years back, if My brain cells are all working this morning, hahahaha, I think I enjoy the Rosado wrapper more than any other , I havent seen them in Years but there was this Huge Torp , RED LION, with a fantastic red lion on the band & a wonderful sweet, mellow , well aged, wrapper that ws just so dammmmmm nice , but at 12/15 bucks a stick I didnt smoke verry many of them, It was MY VICTORY cigar back when the Steelers were winning there first 4 Superbowls , but I still remember the FINE cigars I was smoking back then, , it was just after my transition from machine mades to hand rolled , even now I still grab a Marsh Wheeling or Grenideer just to remember how good cigars were hahahahahaha !
Enjoy, Vince

Whats really weird about this Bloof, is that after reading this last night, I went to bed and had a dream about this HUGE cigar with a really nice red wrapper. And just in case anybody wants to mess with this - IT WAS A CIGAR - nothing else.
