CIGARMANIA is on Sept.28th at the meadowlands Exposition Center, Secaucus, N.J. starting at 6 p.m. Just about every manufacturer of every cigar you ever heard of will be exhibiting there. Plus lighter companies, humidor people, etc. Gerry Cooney and the F.I.S.T. organization will be there with ex-boxing champs, Sports Memorabilia, Jennifer Barretta - one of the world's most famous professional pool players and certainly the best looking pool player I ever saw, Playboy Playmates, Photo events, Virtual and interactive Golf exhibits, The Golden Gup MoTown DJ, WMTR radio, CIGAR DAVE, the Zippo Car, The Montecristo Afrique Defender 110, Triumph Motorcycles, Sports Memorabilia, Silent Auctions, Seminars by C.A.O., ALTADIS, General Cigar, Fuente, etc. Cigar personalities from all over the place, a big goodie bag of cigars the minute you enter and more at the various seminars. Lots of time to corral your favorite cigar manufacturer since you won't have to be running around with coupons trying to colleect the cigars you already paid for !

You'll have fun - take my word for it. This place has 6,000 parking spots (count 'em six thousand) express bus connections from NYC, etc.

The cost is $75.00 and part of the money you pay will be donated to the CAA (Cigar Association of America) to help pay for their efforts to protect your right to keep smoking cigars and fight absurd taxation.

PS: you don't have to go outside or lay down your cigar to get something to eat. You can eat and smoke at the same table and there will be plenty of seating available. Multiple food and drink stations scattered throughout the 66,000 square foot floor - great Cuban Sandwiches and all sorts of good grub and grog.

Call this top secret toll free number to reserve your tickets for Cigar Magazine's CIGARMANIA - 1-877-777-6926.

Did I mention the CIGAR MAGAZINE T-SHIRT and Tote Bag?

It is good that proceeds are going to the CAA. Gents this is truley an increadable organization. They help keep taxes down accross the board and help protect your ability to have cigars sent to you in the mail. If it were not for them we would all be paying taxes on cigars we buy from a catalog or a website.

In the recent issue of smoke magazine that came out a few weeks ago there is a great interview with Jose Oliva and he also talks about how important the CAA is. If you fellers buy online, call your supplier and make sure they are members and contribute. Personally anyone who is not involved will get a dime of my business.

So Who from our side of the worl here is going?! I think my wife and I may be interested in going, but it's tenetive right now. It'd be great to get a bunch of us together with some Cigar.com Swag or shirts to represent!

Misa & I will try and attend!
It would be nice if a bunch of us could meet up.
I can't say for sure yet - just found out today.
I am sure I will know a lot of people going so time will be
shared amoung many people!

YES a very good cause!

Dammit! Just realized that's on a wednesday!!! I even had the green light from the wife until then. That's a disappointment and then some. Guess I'll have to wait for the next cigar(whatever....fest, mania, arama) :(

Sounds better than a Big Smoke. Kind of out of my roaming range though. Crowds tend to bring out a side of me I don't much care for anyway. Think I better stay on the range and tend to the cows.
