I'm so glad it's that time of year again for college football Saturdays!¡! Today I watched the Rice v Texas A&M, C Michigan v Michigan, Clemson v Georgia, Alabama v Va Tech and TCU v LSU (on now) games. I found the A&M game to be interesting in that the Rice players taunting Johnny Football (even though I'm an Aggie it was funny).

I thought this thread would be a good idea for any college football fans to discuss the games we've watched over the course of the season.

What did you watch and what were your observations?

I keep hoping for UConn to have a good football team, but they always seem to disappoint. They lost their opener to Towson and next up is Maryland before a later September game vs Michigan. I seldom watch the games, as my real interest is basketball and more specifically Women's College Basketball and the Uconn Huskies who are hoping for a 9th NCAA championship.

Just watched my Pitt Panthers lose to Florida State 41-13. I really hope that this won't be a bad season for them in their inaugural ACC year.

I watched a bit of that game too, as Pitt was a Big East team before defecting to the ACC.

Welcome to the ACC, Pitt

It's going to take some time seeing how Pitt is finally getting stability with the coaching staff.

But last night was a great indicator on how this season will play out. Offense looked OK, at times, but the defense will kill them all year. Winston seems legit, but Pitt made it real easy for him.

UGLY.
