Voice Chat??

thats actually a great idea, put some voices with the names. I have never used skype, but have used a lot of other voice chat programs. I might check that out.

I got it. When we gonna try this out? It has video as well so we can see what everybody is smoking.. LOL

So what would a person need besides downloading the program? A microphone of some kind?

I would be interested. I don't find Rob's (rmrdaddy) New Joisey accent to be annoying! However when you guys hear my deep, masculine, Texas drawl you might kick me outta the chat room! :throwrock:

The thought just occured to me that I have a PS2 headset used for playing SOCOM online. It just plugs into the USB. Would that work?

Yes, the Socom headset will work on skype.

BTW, which socom are you playing? I played all the way up to Socom CA online. Haven't played in a year now. Just too busy.

I quit playing due to the time issue as well. Its been about four months now. I play Combined Assult. Not really particular about the location. Another thing that I've noticed, I think people are finally getting bored with it. There is ALLOT of 12 year old peckerwoods on there that do nothing but spawn camp and use cheat codes. Its really fustrating now. I found that the funnest way to play is with a clan. :soap:

I did get hooked up last night and the headset is working fine. I found Travis and Jeff but they werent on-line. Hopefully several guys will get this going.

Wow! We tried skype last night. Gordon the Bikeman, BigMatt, Zandor Mike, and myself were on while in the chat room. It worked wonderfully. We were able to talk and participate in the chat room at the same time.

We urged Conner to get on but I think that guy's a rebel and he wanted to resist. Oh yeah, talk about resisting, that Elidog fellow is a real hard sell also. :wink:

Anyhow, I thoroughly enjoyed talking to you guys last night.
