to----------------,

oh, well, I guess I'd better tell you it was a mix I've never used before, Bob's Red Mill Old Fashioned Stoneground Buckwheat Pancake Mix. And that's a mouthful!!!

I've been accustomed to Fearn's, Arrowhead Mills and another mix I've used recently whose name escapes me, but Bob's Red Mill is not even a big name in health food stores, and the others are. Well, it was certainly the most interesting pancake mix I've ever used, in that it was extremely airy and light, while having quite the concentration of buckwheat, being darker and grainier than any buckwheat pancake mix I can recall using.

And they were delicious. Having said thus, it is now time to go on to . . .

another tasting of Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel bourbon, about 14 years old I understand, and from a bottle picked for Binny's by "Joe C." and I understand, probably under the watchful and approving eye of Mr. Lee himself.

More on that later, but Elmer T. Lee is looking good, it's just about finding a spot in the Top 25, because it just may belong. And as the weather begins to warm up in the Good Ol' US of A, it's also a summer time bourbon, folks. At least I think I've got that right. Not sure I'll be drinking any bourbon this summer, but I know some folks who will. :D
