I'm looking for a tulip shaped snifter as shown in Jim Murray's Complete book of whiskey. short stem small mouth. I think he refered to it as a sherry snifter. Need an on line seller as I live in the middle of nowhere. I've been using small brandy snifters for years. Just looking for something new. thanks.

Not sure if you've heard of it, but there is a glass that was created just for drinking bourbon about three years ago. It's made by the same folks that sell sherry snifters and every other kind of glass made for beer, wine and spirits in the world. A few years ago, the folks at the Small Batch Collection i.e., the Jim Beam Distillery, got together with Reidel to create a glass just for drinking bourbon. When it first came out, I thought it might be a gimmick because of the resurgence in the popularity of bourbon and rye, but it's not, it's really the best glass for drinking bourbon or rye in.

Do a Google search for "riedel bourbon glass" and just pick out who you want to buy your set from. You will not be disappointed.
