The wife and kids are leaving first thing Friday morning and leaving me with the two dogs and my GrillDome for 10 days. I have a list as long as my arm of things I'm going to grill/smoke/cook, and friends and family already putting in dibs! (I bribe them with food to get some things done around the house).

Ribs, brisket, pulled pork, BBQ beans, Tandoori chicken and lamb, salmon, "fatties," possibly some bread and pizza too.

(I just hope the weather holds out as I don't have a cover over my cooking are for the time being) :(

I did ribs today myself. Tried a new combo of orange honey added to some Budweiser bbq sauce. The bus sauce is pretty good for those of you who have not tried it.

That was it. Just bottled bud bbq sauce and some orange honey let it soak overnight then put them on the smoker for 4 to 5 hours. When the bones slide without resistance there done. I am really liking the bud bbq sauce but wanted a little more sweetness for the smoker. Simple can be very good.

I do not smoke my ribs, but do have a killer way of baking them. After stripping the membrane, you rub them with your spices - what ever you want to use, and then sprinkle with Worcestershire sause, and bake them on a cookie sheet. Once almost done, you put Oyster sauce on them, and return them to the oven. Baking at 450 degrees will do a mess of ribs in about 45 minutes.
