3 dimensional person through a 2 dimensional plane

I remember seeing something familiar in the past. Cool video!
 
What you don't know is how they got that. A convicted felon donated his body to science. They froze him and essentially put him through a giant deli slicer and then scanned the remains into a computer. It was a very interesting documentary on HBO a while back.

I've seen the same documentary. They are slices of the body.
 
All I know is that when it gets to the cross section of the thighs I started to get hungry. It looks like a couple of nice steaks.
