Would appreciate some info. I normally smoke La Gloria and La Perla cigars. Since Hurricane Katrina came to visit, I will be forced to find some less expensive cigars to smoke. Can someone please recommend some less expensive medium/full smokes. Thanks for your help.

1 Old Dog, I would first like to say welcome to the forum. Tell us a bit about yourself!! If you need help with the La Gloria's, I have a humidor full of them. Capt

I appreciate the offer but all I want are some recommendations for inexpensive medium/full cigars. To answer your question though, we lived in Bay St. Louis, MS. As best we can tell, the eye of the storm went just west of our house. We have not been able to get back to check on the damage yet but I feel certain that my new humidore has and its contents are "gone with the wind".
I am relative novice when it comes to cigars, so any advice you have will be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum Old Dog. I hope you find your place intact better than you are expecting.

Whats your definition of inexpensive cigars? I think the Torano Exudus kind of fits the description. I liked the Gold myself, not to hot on the Silvers.

flor de oliva
padron fumas

those are my go to cigars for what you are describing.

Welcome 1 Old Dog. Good to have you join us. Glad you're safe. Where are you located now?

I agree with bildo on te Padron Fumas. I have also tried the Fuente Curly Head Deluxe, although they are a bit milder. The IT Fire Corojo are inexpensive and full bodied.

I'll pray for you old dog. Try the romeo & juliett. Not to exspensive and a really good smoke for the money. I like the bully size but they all have good flavor. You can also get them in tubes which might help you out for a little while till you get back on youre feet. sorry about youre sit.

Welcome to the forum Old Dog! Can't go wrong with Cusano's stuff and Oliva bundles, the Flor de Oliva line is top notch!
