I just got two new humidors. Thought you'd like to see them. The Yankee Humi I bought off Ebay, and the 50ct was a gift from my brother in law. I'm thinking I should have just bought a 1200ct cabnet like the one Devil Dog just got.

Yup, thats a beautiful sight.

Is the jar efficient? I briefly thought about purchasing one but decided to just put that money into the 500ct humi fund.

I have no idea about the jar. I just got it. I'm going to toss in a few cheap stick and see what happens. If it sucks i'll use it as a candy jar or something. It cost me 9.00 + 5.00 for shipping from Ebay I'll let you know how it works out

The Ashtons are nice and safe in the bottom of the largest humi. I haven't tried them yet. I'll start firing them up next week. I'll let you know how they are.

anyone have a jar humidor? my jar seems to keep the humidity level really high. I think I need to dry it out some and then put the cigars back in. Any ideas?

throw some cedar in there, the problem is that glass does not absorb nor release any humidity

I had one at work once, and it got moldy. I will NEVER use one again!!

I may end up with a nice Yankee candy jar :lol:
I only bought it because it was cheap and it is another piece for my baseball collection.

I use a jar and I have had good luck with it. I watch the humidity level and open it once a day or so. I don't put expensive cigars in there however! :wink:
