An August 19 corn roast/get together in SE MI

Seeing that I am new to the board and MISSED the Midwest sitdown at Ryan's. I would like to host a get together & corn roast on August 19 at my place. I live in Hartland Michigan. About 35 or so miles NW of Detroit.

Nothing big or fancy. Just come out and hang out.

I am flexible. We could also do it the 12th. Let me know what is good.
 
id love to go but that really is restaurant busy time im going to have to pass. in this buisness my work time is others free time.
On the other hand i have weekdays off so when you are at work slaving away im at home cigar in one hand drink in the other.

Seems as if the Wolverine state is the place to be for cigar related get togethers these days... The 12th may be a little tricky for me, my birthday is around that time and my g/f has some special plans for either that weekend or the next, I'm unsure and she's not letting on either. If and when I do know anything I will let you know, damn, roasted corn, is there any better vegetable?
 
I'll be out of town that weekend I'm sorry to say. Especially since I'm less than an hour away from Hartland.
