Anyone know anything about the band Chicago? A while ago I bought tickets to an Earth, Wind, and Fire concert that is coming up at the beginning of September and I just noticed that Chicago is playing also.

I have heard the name before but I don't know if I have ever heard their music. Can you guys help me out by giving me an idea of what they sing?

Chicago is effing awesome. I dunno how I'd describe their music...they're like a classic rock band, but they've got a big horn section. If you've ever listened to much classic rock you've probably heard some of their stuff. I love it. They were down here in FL last year and I really wanted to go see them, but I was unable to

I doubt I'll be able to go this time around either. Sucks.

Went to see Chicago when they were in Birmingham last year. Good show, lots of brass. Classic rock, 70's - 80's. Like being at my Jr. and Sr. proms again.

OK, thanks Axe. That helped a lot. Not really my kind of music but I have heard a couple of those songs before. I guess I will just sit through it and maybe I'll have a new apprecation for them by the time it is over.

Yeah, when I saw they were doing a concert I was thrilled. The cool thing is that I bought my tickets over the internet and I got in as soon as they went on sale. So I ended up being one of the first 10 people to buy tickets so I am as close to the front as possible (not counting the tickets that they assign to radio stations and stuff). I think I am in row 10 or something so still very close.

They are playing out here in NJ, I believe next month, by the Camden waterfront, across from Philadelphia. The wifey had no interest in going, so I had no chance in going! Ha Ha!!!

I didn't ask my wife. I bought 2 tickets and if she said she didn't want to go I would take someone else.
