Not as bad as all that - Monday we start work on rebuilding the river front housing situation.
I need to buy a bunch of stone for the project.
I figured having nice ahstrays & no home doesn't make much sense.
These are some very nice art pieces - I have neevr used them, bought them many years ago & have them stashed away collecting dust.
You mean they weren't even sitting out in the open adorning that magnificent home of yours? In that case, then perhaps yes, and it is at times, just for such a purpose that things have been purchased in the first place. My father bought many things, lotsa chachkas through the years, and now slowly but surely, those chachkas and other things may be one of the keys out of my present financial difficulties. Oh, the fathers with wisdom and foresight! Where we would we be without Dad?
I used to keep a large glas case/humidor
it was filled with one of every regular production Opus & many are hard to find fuente cigars.
There were lighters, cutters & a bunch "O" stuff.
After the flood I let 90% of the cigars go - but kept a lot of collectables.
Yeah - it seems sad to have such nice things just collecting dust :cry:
But I never wanted a house boat!
Or Castle boat - maybe a row boat with a small engine to fish from would be nice.
I do have a paddle boat - 2 person - one day I hope to have a pond to go with it!
It's part of our emergancy escape plan :wink:
