I just returned from Honduras, and while i was down there i obtained some rather cheap cigars which i had heard good things about. They were Baccarat Cigars. Instead of asking i would try one, but i'm saving them with a few friends for a special event. So i'm just curious if any of you have tried these, and what you think of them. By the way, if you could not tell from this i am rather new to cigars.

I couldn't tell you about "Baccarat" cigars, although the "T Word" catalog really pushes those. Perhaps searching the forums using Baccarat as a search term would help.

While I have you on the line, am I to understand that you have achieved 93 mph in the downhill on skis? Just curious.

those are made by caribe who is based in honduras. They also make la fontana and camacho. If you like them try the fontanas next. The baccarats are sweet tipped and very mild. Not a favorite but good tobacco.

I agree with Macallan, good tobacco. I've smoked a couple of these and they aren't a bad cigar, just a little to mild for my taste.

I find the Fontanas are a good morning smoke with some tea and coffee!

I actually like the Baccats in the morning when I am golfing (front 9). They are pretty mild, but nice. The second nine I like to have something stronger. I am finding the more I get into cigars the more I am liking the medium to full cigars.

Tomorrow I play 27 so I will start mild and who knows where I will end up at the end.

I really like these. 2-3 months in the humidor and they are really good!

They are mild, but that doesn't hurt them in my opinion 8)

I've never been a fan of sweet-tipped cigars, but the Baccarat Luchadore I had a couple years back from a sampler was enjoyable.

Doesn't matter how you disquise it, I'm just not into flavored cigars. I'd much rather have a snickers.

Did you hear what Kelvin said?

He's going to play TWENTY SEVEN (27) holes of golf today. It's going to be 100 degrees where he lives. Better him than me out on that course today.

:eek:mg: :eek:mg: :eek:mg: :flush:

Oh, he played Saturday. Okay, better him than me out on that course anyway, because I don't play golf.

You have just seen Your Moderator, The Great Dumboni, make a complete jerk out of himself for the umpteenth time. The lesson is READ before you reply.

I should take that advice myself some time.

It got HOTTER on the final 18 of the tournament on Sunday and even hotter today when I had to play 18 with a client. I am done playing golf in the heat - I think I will wait for the fall.

Thank God I had a huge stash of sticks while I was out there.

heck, I thought it HAD to be 100 before you could play golf. At least in north Texas.... What will they think of next.....
