Well, I finally made it back!!

Smoked a lot of good stuff!

Now is the fun part of playing catch up!!

Af un little story, a couple nights ago I wwas walking down bourban st with my dad and I was smoking a fuente fuente...
as I'm walking I actually ran into Carlito, after a few words he reached into a bag and pulled out a BBMF and what looks to me to be a Opus X 952R....something Carlito made for a party that never happened, but he still has all the cigars....Cool Stuff, don't know when I'll smoke those babies, they will sleep for now!!

Anyway, good to be back! :D

Good to have you back Thor!!! Love New Orleans, I look forward to heading back down there soon. Enjoy those smokes!! I have been trying to find a 952R of my own, just not having much luck! :D

Take care,
Paul

The first one I had was amazing!
Misa and I sat by the river and each smoked one -
a friend came up near the end of the smoked and thought we were stoned! I was laughing and told him yeah the cigar was that good!
Changed flavors 6-10 times.
Not sure if the new one's are the same?
But WOW!

Yeah, I'm not even sure that they make them, they might be from the original batch!! One can hope anyway!

I've smoked a few cigars from Carlito's special stash and they were all excellent! The best Fuente I ever smoked was a gift of one of Carlito Seniors Personal smokes - a Don Carlos that had construction like nothing else I ever smoked!
Sounds like you were walking down the right street at the right time!

That is amazing! You guys really get the goods from some top notch cigar guys! Wow! I just heard who Carlos and Carlito were like 2 weeks ago. WOW!

Welcome to our little clud wood! Some of these guys are very well connected, and some are in the right place at the right time! :D either way I could really go for a private stash smoke from a fuentes' family member!!!!

My P's and I were walking to Preservation hall, a pretty well known Jazz club in the city. When we got there it was closed, so we decided to aimlessly walk around and have a cigar...it was only about 12:30 am

It was meant to be!!

I'm sure you had a good time, but think how much better it could have been if you had taken me for "security purposes"! :D 8)

Carlito - Is a very nice guy!
He does a great deal of Charity work in the DR.
They built an entire village to help the peopole there out.
Last year I was honored to make a peice of cigar jewelry for him.

You said it...I'm just glad I visited it when I did because it won't be the same after this

You mean it won't be there after this. I left my house a few hours ago, and going to take a look at the report again now, but even if it weakens just a little, it looks like The Big Easy will be a Big Memory after this. Very sad, because it will hurt the region and possibly the nation's economy for years to come.

Walking down Bourbon Street and bumped into Carlito. Tell me there's no God.

Gonna be a rough one in NO.

Glad I made RTDA and got to see it before Katrina.
