What do you folks think about boxed wines ? Every time I go to visit a couple of friends,I bring two bottles of good New York Finger Lakes white wine.Nothing expensive ($8.00-$12.00),but tasty wine. When they come over my place they bring this pink wine in a box.Am I being too fussy or is these wines just not that great ?I've never been a huge fan of white zinfandel, but I'll have some if it's the only thing. How long does this boxed wine last ? Just curious.

Either you continue to introduce you friends to "good wing" or just bring a better box of wine!

When they say "Where is the great wine you brought last time?" you can let them know that you felt uncomfortable bringing "Less wine for more money"

We continue to bring better wines to our friends. That drop in the water has spread from us to our kids to their friends.

Ken, the quality of the wine is not judged by the container. There are more and more "Good" wines available in Boxes and screw top bottles. As far as the White Zin is concerned, it is a light bright wine that has its place. I have it as a summer wine when the weather is warm.
