I was watching the Fine Living Channel Last night and they spotlighted the Brotherhood Winery in New York. It is the Oldest "Continuously" operating winery in the USA. It seems they were allowed to continue to operate during proabition to make "Alter" wine for the church crowd. What I found interesting was that they produce a Pinot Noir.
I wonder if the infamous resident of Fishkill N.Y. knows of this place ?
HAs he ever tried this wine ?
Can he get a bottle of Pinot for BigTom ? (Virginia will not allow outside wineries to ship into Virginia)

Possibly heard of them, don't drink wine myself, can't ship liquids out anymore. Not sure if you remember a post or two I put up a while back about going to four different couriers, including the post office, when I was trying to ship bourbon and cigars to a friend. I have friends in NYC and surrounding areas that claim they still ship liquids. I don't know how they get away with it, because I haven't been allowed to. I can't go into this again, but it's a lot of bureaucratic crap. DocBarry is one who claims he can still ship liquids out. Maybe he knows how to do it. I get an M-1 Abrams tank in my face when I've tried, and believe me, I've tried, otherwise, I'd do it for you no hesitation, no problem.

Sorry, I get my wine of the month via UPS. As a matter it should be showing up about Wednesday.
