Just finished a Camacho Triple Maduro at the local lounge, and while it was a great smoke, it didn't compare to the company. The lady drove and had a few cappucinnos while I enjoyed my usual Bookers then had a Blanton's for something different. It was the first time I've had a Blanton's and it was good bourbon for sure, although I don't know that it will replace the Booker's. As for the company, well the lady and I were undwinding from work and I had just finished telling her how Craig and I had mentioned meeting up there for a smoke sometime. Not more than 5 minutes later, who comes walking in? Craig! We had a drink or two while we smoked and talked it up a bit. Made for a great evening, but unfortunately we had to leave because the lady's kid was due back from her fathers. It was a great time that was all too short, but I'm sure we'll be meeting up there again.
For all you people in the Phoenix area, the lounge is called Magnum's and it's on the southeast corner of 7th St. and Union Hills. It's a nice upscale place with an awesome walkin humidor. They don't mess much with the lower end cigars but quite a selection of good to super premiums. I highly recommend the place.
Thanks for stopping in Craig. It was a nice surprise. Hopefully next time I won't have to cut it short.
