on the grass
I have never smoked a candela. The bright green kinda scared me away. Plus I usually prefer a deep Oscuro or Maduro wrapper. However, in my efforts to expand my horizons I would like to try a candela. Any recommendations?

The Fuente's are probably the best. Candela's are an extremely mild, sweet tasting cigar, and yes, the chlorophyll does come through prominently.

I was gifted a couple La Gloria Cubana Candela's, but have yet to smoke them. Kinda scared!

any thoughts on the camacho's or astral's candela? was thinkin of trying them too

Love the Camacho but avoid the Astral. The Camacho is the best Candela out there IMHO. It has more body and taste and is not overwhelmingly grassy like the other ones I have smoked. I would also agree with Bloof, the fuente 858 is another good one.

I'll have to check out that Camacho candela. Never had it before. It would be nice to see one with the same basic flavor profile, but more flavor and strength.

i thought that might be the case with the camacho's, and i love camacho's so i think i will give them a try

I've tried the Cuba Aliados Candela. Not too bad, but very mild.

Anyone tried the Don Tomas?
