Hey all, I've not posted much but some of you might have read a few posts, anyway, I just recently went thru about a month where I not only didn't smoke, but I really didn't have much to smoke.
So I devised a plan to remedy the situation, about 10 days ago I ordered 4 5 vegas A's, 1 Partagas Rosado, 2 Sol Cubano Maduro, 1 Padron 4000, and 2 1996 Cusano Corojo Toro's.
One day prior to recieveing these cigars I recieved last months Cigar club selection(Rocky Patel). And yesterday I got this months selection.
A couple of days ago I smoked a RP Conn and I must say while I was happy to try a new cigar this stick was fairly bland, maybe it was just to mild not terrible but it was probably the first and last stick I'll buy.
And now the good part.
Today for the first time I had a 5 Vegas A Maduro.
This is an awesome stick, I mean the whole thing down to the nub! I can't yet describe taste very well quite yet, but at first taste my buds said, "roasted coffee bean".
Anyway just wanted to proclaim my journey has resumed its course towards a cigar afficianado.
Regards,
Pic

Welcome to the forum, Picstr!

Your journer into the world of cigars will have its ups and downs. The best part is smoking a different cigar and finding so many favorites that you end up liking. Sure there will be sticks that doesn't appease you. But that's the life of a cigar smoker. We all have met a bland cigar or one that doesn't fit our taste. But don't limit your judgement by just 1 stick. If you have a second of the same stick, let it rest in your humidor for several months, and try it again. Maybe a little age will change the constitution of that same brand you smoked earlier.

welcome to the Picstr, it sounds like you are well on your way to building a fine collection of smokes brother. You might as well save some time, and buy your coolerdoor right now - you are going to need it if you hang around here too long for sure!!

I've got one of those 5 Vegas cigars sitting in my humi. It doesn't
have much age on it yet, but I am thinking it will be one fine summer smoke!

Keep us posted brother, and stay tuned for more of the madness!
