Chop Cigars?

I bought a couple cigars from DJs Smoke Shop in AZ that I think are all chop ones. The first cigar I ever smoked was one that was hand rolled in front of me by a cuban whos been rolling for 35+ years and he uses only long filler. So I messed one up (bad cut and it was pretty dired) and I got 4 more chop ones left that look and smell pretty good. But I would like some pointers on smoking chop ones verse handrolled. The handrolled ones are great but a 5$ pop and $1.23-$1.50 a pop for choped ones you can get alot more. I have only been smoking cirgars for a bit and I never had Chop ones before.

Thanks

I am not a fan of chopped/short filler cigars. Very uneven burn and the ash falls off at very inopportune times!

I think there are way too many cheap (as in under $2) handmade long filler cigars to be smoking short fillers. None-the-less, I have occasionally come into possession of such. I have found that it is best not to let them dry out and be very careful about how much of the cap you cut off.
