Does the Cigar of the Month Club charge on 1 certain date of the month or has it been charged of different dates?

I personally think the COTMC is a wonderful value.
I just received my 3rd package of a 3-month subscription and re-upped for 6 more month's.
You get to try 5- different cigars, with a revue, for a very reasonable price.
The only problem is, I found three more brands I'll buy by the box.
Maybe that ain't such a big problem.

I got Thompson Cigar Co. calling me every week to join the program they have. No I do not order cigars from them, I did however, purchase a humidor. It will be an honor to tell them I am joining the Cigar.com Cigar of the Month club. Then they will stop calling me (I hope!) If next month is the bread winner, I will join!

I have a friend at work that got involved with the Thompson thing and he had a real hard time getting out of it. It seems like they would send bundles of whatever crap they were pushing that month.
The cigar.com cigar of the month on the other hand is totally different.
You will get 5 different cigars ranging from daily smokes (cheap) to recommended ( a bit more expensive). But the real deal for me, is the fact sheet you get each month with the package explaining all the different aspects of each cigar.
You sign up for the number of months you want and there is no pressure to continue.

These are beautiful cigars. I opened each to take in the wonderful aroma.
now the only trouble is finding time to smoke a couple. Between 12 hour shifts, strep throat, and more 12 hour shifts, might be a week or two
