I frequently am away from my house on the weekends because my fiance lives about an hour away. Just for the weekend, is it safe to keep the smokes I bring with me in a ziplock with a water pillow or do I need something more substantial? Will they keep for a week in a ziplock with a water pillow? I am gonna end up buying a small humi to keep at her place in a little while anyway I'm sure, but I was just wondering for the mean time.

The ziplock will work, but gives your cigars no protection. Look at an otter box. They are not that high and work well.

Otterbox. Just don't use the credo inside. For a weekend you actually wouldn't need anything in it since they seal so well.

I agree!
No need for anything as long as the cigars are sealed well.
Also be careful of sunshine -
it can cause extra humidity and make the cigars to damp to smoke.

In the mean time the tupperware will work fine. You can get those disposable ones very cheap at the supermarket. I might stay away from the water pillow. They may release too much humidity into the tupperware. If you have a boveda pack that would work great.

i have a otterbox 15 count with a small heartfelt tube in it. now if you are going to store for a while it is good to use this right?
