A fellow I was talking to today said that Colibri was going O/B. Anybody know about it? I didn't see anything on the web yet.

They did it in a very crappy way.
I am not a big fan of their lighters so I feel that that is what you get for making a bad product.
I feel bad for the people who own them and can no longer get them repaired or buy the fuel that you have to use.

When I saw this thread yesterday, and went to their web site, no mention at all. Oh well, never had much success with their lighters anyway, the under $40 being the best of the lot. Goodbye and good riddance. If you want a reliable lighter, get an original Blazer tank lighter.
Wow my first cigar lighter was from them and I still have it no complaints. Oh well, I'll use it till it breaks just like eveything else I own. Does suck how they did it though.

I have several Colibri's over the years - I haven't really had many problems with them. I never used their fuel anyway so I won't be missing that.
