Corojo...anyone else taste Rye Whiskey through the nose on Corojo wrapped smokes? I havn't had rye whiskey in about 6 years now, but I'm convinced thats what im tasting through the nose...anyone else get that?

No one?....maybe its me...i might just be sensitive to that "fermented" taste

i just dont drink rye.

maybe ill get some just befor smoking my next corojo.

ok ... so i see what you are sayin. since im now smokein mostly cusano 97 corojo i can see it over the last two cigars. i wouldnt have picked the flavor myself but now that its pointed out...

Thanks....I thought i was loosing my mind lol

Thats a taste i haven't had by choice now for 6 years...and when i got it thru the nose on rocky's old world, and the cusano...i thought...hmm...thats interesting...what would attribute to that "flavor"...fermentation of the leaf? is it a filler we're getting that from or is that innate of corojo?
