Credit card surcharge

I know that they are allowed to in Jersey now. Haven't seen it yet - I think it would be a huge mistake. If someone added that to my order, I would put up a stink.

So glad I live in Texas where this can't happen. That would probably make me not go to stores that did it.

There is one store in our city that has been doing this for at least two years already. I do not blame the merchants, they are gouged by the CC companies for using their processing services. On the other hand, we pay service fees to banks all the time, and at least in Canada those banks are making profits hand over fist.
