i swear they were in stock this morning when i put them in my cart, after adding other selections i was ready to pay and i see they were not in stock  :x

We got in a small batch that did not have bands. I emailed Christian Eiroa and he mentioned that some were shipped without bands but it was only a few and that all shipments moving forward are banded. So if you have one without a band it is probably legit.

Those cigars are high maintnance. You have to store them at the right humidity and outside of the humidor they dry up 5 times faster then most smokes. They usually need to sit a few days before smoking. Just a heads up. But the flavor is totally worth the effort. :D

Great Question. All diplomas and camacho corojo from Cigar.com that shipped after May 1st are the 2005 blend from the 2003 corojo harvest. Every year tobacco changes so every year they have to redo the blend to get it taste the same year to year. So while the blend is "new" it actually tastes the same.

The word on town is that this years Corojo which utilizes the 2003 harvest is the best it has been in many years.

Banded or unbanded they are still the same blend. New boxes have 2005 stamped on the bottom.

Be on the look out in the next year or so for a Limited Edition Diploma Humidor that will be pyramid shaped like the box. This is all rumor at this point but I am jacked if they make them. Hopefully they would stock it with some kind of limited edition size.

I could keep the inside info coming all day. The cigar industry tends to have as much gossip as a sorority. If you want to stay up on all the latest info keep checking out our monthly newsletter. I thought about starting a gossip section but decided against it. you may see a new member on the forum who posts all the inside info.

Gossip section...hmm...I don't like the idea of being in a sorority Alex!!!

I can't wait for the humidor....If you harp long enough, it will come!!!

The diplomas tend to move out pretty quickly!

I promise, I don't take them all when they come in!! I have a good enough stock to keep me busy for a while...

just as long as you dont drool all over them before they get shipped out its all good, lol.

What!? I thought that's why you guys liked them so much!!!

Alex - I got the same info on the Diplomas, but the email said one to three weeks. WIll it really be that long??

I always try to keep a box of Diplomas around. For another cigar in my rotation, I bought a box of CAO eXtreme and have found them to be close or equal to the Diploma. Anybody else have the same feeling?

Well for me there is no diploma replacement although I find the Camacho Corojo Monarca to get pretty close a reasonable price.

However, I do enjoy the CAO eXtreme. Nice robust aroma. I used to really enjoy CAO but lately I really only regularly smoke the anniversaire maduro and eXtreme. I guess the old palate is changing. I thought the Italia was a dog rocket.

Yeah, the eXtreme is the only CAO I've tried and from what I've read and heard I'm not inclined to bother with the others in the line-up. I'm pretty happy with Diploma, Cusano C10, Padron 3000, and Onyx Reserve as my everyday smokes. When I've been a good boy, I'll allow myself an Opus, Anejo, or Cuban that I've kept sleeping in the cooler. I'm always watching for something new to try, however, just for fun.

I am new to this forum and smoking cigars, but am enjoying my experience so far.
I have seen people raving about Diploma's.
I must ask you to please forgive this incredibly noobish question, but, where on the site can i find these listed on this site?

I hope i can get to know you guys and we can continue to help each other enjoy this hobby to the fullest.

Cheers!
