My uncle got a cigar from a client and, as he doesn't smoke them, gave it to me. I've never heard of it before and was wondering if anyone has any information. It is labeled Don Tomás and is a very light, almost green, wrapper.

Cybrus,
I have smoked the Don Tomas line before, but found the cigars kept going out on me. I did however buy a box of Don Tomas Corojos that I liked very much. Not bad for an every day cheaper cigar. The Corojos come tissue wrapped an has a nice creamy and spicy flavor.

Sounds like what you have is the Don Tomas candela.
VERY mild smoke.
The wrapper itself is about 18 years old.

Worth trying.

Stick around here....... 8)

Don Tomas has been around a long long time. They are a mild cigar, well maybe a very mild cigar. The candela is milder than mild. I smoke them occasionally when I golf. They don't interfere with my poor golf game and if it gets lost it is no big deal since they are inexpensive. A good starter cigar or one that won't kick your butt.

LOL...agree with Capt...stick around here tune...I promise you will get the enlightenment of a lifetime!

We made a group order and one of the guys bought those Don Thomas Candela. All of us except for the guy who bought them use them for fodder in the bottom of our hummidors.
