I recently read about "El Cheapo" cigars from the corona cigar company. they cost around 20$ for a bundle of 25, and i was wandering if anybody has every had one. the price makes it sound like the cigars arent very good, but you never know, thanks...Nick[/quote]

Spooner, I posted in the "What did you Buy" thread with my last purchase. I'm always in search of the "cheap good smoke".
Camacho Factory Nudes from Rocky. Churchills for $.78.
Havana wrapper on Honduran long leaf. Too light for me, mild to medium but great draw and burn. But better than some of the premiums in my box , Currently smoking the coyolars in regular rotation so I'm a little jaded.
Another great cheap buy. National Brand Nicaraguans! $1.78 for a Churchhill. These babys are a real nice smoke from Camacho.
I'd say, right now, my best buy!

Flor De Oliva bundles are the best inexpensive smokes around IMO.

Rip off the band...and you can mix it in with premiums.

I saw those Bulz, haven't tried them yet. The price is right. Which ones are you smokin and Have you tried the Nationals?

If you are a mild cigar guy- the Sumatra or CT.

Everyone else - Maduro, Corojo, or Cameroon. I think the Maduro is my favorite. But the Cameroon with a cup of coffee is amazing.

The Corojos will run about $10.00 more than the Nationals on a bundle.
I was actually going to buy a bundle of those when I found Camacho Monarcas for $55.00 a box. I pulled the trigger there.
I like to find one for a test run.
Thanks Bulz, you've kinda confirmed what I already had planned.

You didn't answer, have you tried the Nationals?

I have not had a National Brand from Nicaragua.

I have smoked the Honduran Nationals before, and I was in Honduras when I did it. I hated them. They tasted like smoking paper towels and two of the three I smoked were poorly constructed to boot. (I think the cap was sweetened as well)

I suppose I just wrote off National Brands.

No comparison Bulz.
I'm the same way. If you get chance try the Nicaraguans.
Next bundle smoke for me will be the Flor De Corojo's.

National Brand from Nicaragua...if it doesn't say Nacaragua on the band its not the good one....these are great cheap smokes..tasty and full bodies....
