C.com has um for around 20 or 30 beans each. You have to call to get um though.

As far as I know, the VSG has a wrapper grown in Ecuador while the ESG has a Dominican wrapper. Availability seems to be a problem, my local Ashton retailer can't get any of the ESG, not that the VSG and Puro Sol are bad cigars but that ESG does sound tasty.

They are in a limited release. They will be around sometime after the holidays, but as of now they only released a limited number of boxes. Alex will give you the full scoop. I'm exited to try them because I like Ashton cigars so much but I hear they are a completly different cigar then anything else they make.

yeah thats the thing I love VSG and i'm always up for trying new cigars. Thanks for the Info cloudy I actually work at a Smoke shop so i am gonna have to talk to my boss and see if he knows anything cause we have a decent variety of ashton's

VSG is Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper grown by the Olivas for Fuente who makes the cigar for ashton. (not the same cigar olivas, different family). The ESG is the newer release available in one size now with 4 more coming over the next 5 years. Only one allocation has occured nationwide which consisted of a total of 200 boxes. Cigar.com has located several and put them up for sale but they are all gone. At this point, most are either in private collections or on the second market for a big markup. We are still trying to locate more and will keep everyone posted. IMHO these are not as good as the VSG.

For those of you who have smoked the OpusX ForbiddenX toro Platinum, the ESG uses the same wrapper from the same plant, only a different priming.

I had one manufacturer friend tell me he thought the ESG was better that most Opus X that he smokes... I thought it was alright, and not worth the $$ I paid with Cali Tax....

In my opinion, it has way more juice than the VSG's, which seem to be less bodied and flavored these days, two different cigars, you just have to smoke both and see which one you like better. I'll kepp smoking both, when the price is right...
