Go with the Partagas EL's. The CORO's will always (hopefully) be around.

I say go with the Cohiba. I have a slight prejudice for them. If you are still undecided, draw the names out of a hat. Then go with whatever says COHIBA...... :lol:

Buy both and you can't go wrong!!! 8)

I haven't smoked a new Robusto in such a long time....

So I would say the PSD #1 EL 03's, only because I just smoked one and loved it!!!

I love the CoRo's. They are a rock solid, good smoke that warrant a special occassion, although by no means what I would consider an elegant or celebritory cigar. Every time I pull one out, I have to time myself out shortly into the cigar and just sit in awe. I say they are not a celebritory cigar for no other reason than being a robusto. I tend to think of a special occassion cigar one that I can sit with for a good hour and a half to two hours, that is just me though, you may have a different take on this. By all means the CoRo, in terms of profile and flavor is the cats meow.

The PSD1 EL on the other hand fits the ticket for size, although not elegant in appearence, it is a commanding cigar. I have a box that I've barely touched. They need age in my opinion and will sit for the time being. They will develop into what I think your looking for, and it sounds as though your intention is to put some age on the box you purchase. I don't think this cigar has what is considered the classic "EL flavor" but is a bomb in it's own right. Very bready and predominant creamy flavors. It will grab a hold of you Macallan and demand your attention.

I would of picked the Partagas - only fr the fact that 12 years of age
eeds a good strong stick.
The CORO is a nice smoke, but never a strong smoke &
to me the Party will age amazingly!

The HU#2 are a great smoke - had one yesterday and was thinking I need to get some more!
Still a few left, but I need to pull the trigger on a box!

Too late for this now I see but try the Cohiba XV if you haven't already. I'm into the really full smokes like the diploma too and these are like celebratory diplomas (If thats even possible) to me.

I tell ya Mac, that feeling I get when a new box arrives is like a drug...I need more! :lol: Glad they arrived safe and sound.

Coincidentally, I did a little cabinet shopping myself today 8)
