Man, it seems everyone is becoming a mod around here. I just noticed that Fargo is now one. Is this new or did it happen ealier and I just missed it?

Regardless, congratulations Fargo!! Really moving up in the world, bro!




I think pretty soon everybody will be a mod here (except me, of course, and the daddy from joisey).
 
I think we have more mods than members. I guess that makes me special. :p (no not that kind of special all you wise guys)

I think if you look, Fargo is moderator within Amback's "Forum Watercooler" area -- specifically the General Discussion, Debate and Religious Issues Sub-Forums. Most of his postings are within the main area's of Amback and a smaller percentage within Cigars.

Does that mean you can act up within Cigar's and Fargo will overlook it and not SLAP you -- I doubt it. Forum Policies are Forum Policies and they apply to all members across all forums. Phish, if you see someone do something borderline, you are welcome to self police the area/thread and mention it to the offending member! (and then make sure to notify a staff member to alert them to the thread in question.)

Moderators can't ban people.... they can only refer them to the top (forum owner/admin) for banishment. Moderators are here to keep things within forum policy, and to move threads that are in wrong area's -- or split threads that have been hi-jacked and have wandered off topic.

When do I get my junior moderator badge?
 
It would be at the bottom of a box of Captain Crunch or Fruit Loops (perhaps Trix or Lucky Charms??).

I would suggest you comport yourself well -- and if the need arises, the persons in charge may contact you. From what I remember from my days on Staff --- you are contacted by them, not vice versa
 
It makes sense to have more moderators since the cigar forum has expanded so much lately. That's a lot of information to keep track of.
 
Awwww dang it! Looks like we'll have to keep putting up with them then! :lol:
 
With Rob - all we need to do is put shiny things in front of him - it distracts him and he can't post. Gordon is too smart for that - I would suggest putting on a hockey game.
