To all my cigar friends. Happy Fathers Day.
I'm visiting my son in Oklahoma City ( he is also malone) and we will be telling stories and smoking. It will be a great weekend and I may send a hello from OKC. Oklahoma is a great place with super people. We have a great weekend planned and I'll try to act my age. Maybe ride a bull.

I became a step dad when I married my wife 3 years ago...we've been together for 7 years and I helped bring up her daughter. The daughter was 14 when we met and surprisingly enough, she respects me. :D
Now all I got to do is get her to buy me cigars!
 
i just mailed out my father's gift and card. I sent him two Exclusivos from my box. Pre cut so that he doesn't have to mess with them and draw checked. I'm hoping he can kick back by the grill on sunday and enjoy a fine smoke. I have to admit im also hoping they get him away from the macanonos :wink:

(nothing against macanudos just not my personal preference, although many like them since they are a top seller)

Hello....My name is Paul....And I have smoked a macanudo! Though it was the most lack luster, tasteless stick I have ever experienced, I here by swear that I will not, and Can not allow friends to smoke macanudo cigars.

I do Enjoy the vintage 93's though, but it has been a while since I smoked one, adn I have been smoking a lot of Diplomas these days......

looks like i won't be offending anyone by bashing macanonos so i guess ill go for it.... one word: nasty.

i have a feeling that he will definatly like the padron exclusivos he will be recieving. Not much of a smoker so he has only really tried macanonos.
 
at the bachelor party i went to a while ago, i started smoking an a fuente (dont remember which one) and this guy there i hadnt met before starts talking to me about cigars. im like ok cool, this could get interesting. he started talking about a bunch of brands i never heard of like they were the best thing since sliced bread. then he said he brought a box of macanoodles to share with every one. then he started talking about all the dirt cheap cubans he got in tijuana and how great they were. i had to just walk away and ignore him the rest of the night. rofl

I'll admit I have a 1/2 dozen '93 #1's lying around but I haven't smoke one in years.
I picked up a couple boxes of 97's real cheap for giving out to my non-smoking friends. They see the vintage band and right away they think it's great :wink: I just hope they don't take up the hobby or I'll have some explaining to do :lol:
 
Fathers day will have a special meaning this year for me, as I've just been told that I'm to be a grandfather!!! I'll celebrate with a Comaco Crojo Dark Monarcha, and a large cognac!!....life is good!!!

This will be my brother in Laws first! I am giving him a Humidor and Cigar ashtray, as well as some various sticks...

Right now I feel bad because he only keeps them in a bag with a water pillow...

At least this way, I can have something to smoke on poker night!! No I'm joking, I always bring a bunch of sticks to share....

It's amazing though, all of my family and friends have stocked humidors now!! :lol: :lol:
