Hey, I just thought I'd start a thread on people's preference when it comes to the shape of a cigar.

Personally, I like toros and robustos. I tend towards 50+ ring sized cigars.

I prefer my cigars from about 47-52 ring gauge, I have an easier time getting them to burn well than 54+ and they tend to be more complex and cooler than a corona sized ring. I mainly stick with robustos, churchills, and belicosos/torpedos, don't really like toros though.

The main reason why I like toros is because, to me, they are like extra long robustos =]

i like a good old fashioned rubusto or churchill. i dont really care for coronas though.

My all time favorite is the the Lancero size....

A long but thick panetela, anything over 7 inches, about 44 ring...

To me it is very classy, sexy size....

But it also depends on the circumstance, if I'm grilling or at a BBQ, Camping, I'll go for the big boys, Padron Magnum Maduro, Hemminway Masterpiece....etc....

If I'm at a bar or "club" atmosphere, I tend to go W/ the Rob's or Coronas....

To be honest, I love them all, Each of them have a place in my life at the right time!!!! :cheerschug:

I agree, I love them all! My favorite is the perfecto, I like all the unusual figurados too. I usually stick to the over 50 guage sizes, but I do enjoy a 5x50 also. For a long time I used to prefer a big maduro torpedo, now I crave a Nicaraguan puro perfecto! But after saying all that...variety is what makes me most happy!

I usually prefer a robusto, toro, or churchill. I do enjoy smaller sticks for the ride to work and back home, something that will last 25 - 40 minutes.

Churchill has to be my favourite, although lately I've been smoking many coronas.

I have to agree with 'Smoka and Freedom. I've found a place for almost every size, but I tend to stay away from anything under 43 gauge 'cause they tend to burn too hot for my liking. But I'm not against trying something I haven't had yet with a smaller ring gauge.
