I've seen this before CC as "West Virginia Christmas Lites" I actually came up with a couple of those yard deer that I'm gonna turn into that display for next season.
Neighbors will love it!

Haha, thats awesome...neighbors prolly arent too excited about it though.

Can't see the picture too good, but I hope it's a cigar fashioned out of lights!

Its a deer hung upside down, ready to be cleaned and butcherd, complete with cut throat and pile of blood on the ground!

(voice of small child) "Daddy, he killed Bambi!"

Technically Brenda, we are in SW PA and the antler restrictions only allow us to harvest more mature bucks. 4 x 4 or better.
So It would be " Daddy, he killed Bambi's Dad"

Locally, once hunting season starts, you're either seeing them hanging in the yard, in the back of a truck, lying dead on the road or STANDING if front of you on the road!

Been on Rotten? I was thinking about doing that myself but don't have any trees big enough in the front yard. I suppose I could do one like that in the ground and use of those animated ones next to it and make it look like its feeding off the dead one... (I'll save you all the trouble and admit I'm a bit eccentric if not slightly disturbed.)

I read a story about a guy in Manhattan that put a Santa up with a butcher knife in his hand standing next to a tree of barbie heads holding up a severed doll head. Said it was to protest the commercialization of Christmas but still had an inflatable Santa to use in the display.

Naaa, Flintlock comes in day after Christmas, that's when the fun starts. I've had the smokepole out in the garage aclimating itself to the cold for a while now.
