Armpit of the world....Al Asad, Iraq
Well my wife and daughter are home finally!

They are doing well and I have some pics to share!

Thanks again everyone for all of your kind words and well wishes.
Believe it or not I haven't even had time to smoke any celebratory cigars to commemorate the event. I'll be taking care of that formality this weekend! Maybe the Opus that Rory sent me!

AAAHHH-RAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Can I take her to the prom?

Only if you have her back by 10 pm.
'Cause if you don't.....I have a Kimber Custom II .45 with 7 in the mag and one in the pipe and every round has your name on it.

DD, now we can let you in on the "Fathers who have Daughters" secret.
You and your wife must convert your basement (or move to a new house if your present one is without a basment) into a seperate, completely secure, panic-room type dwelling.
When your daughter reaches her 12 birthday, you will then be prepared to move her down into her new home until she turns 30!

My daughter is 8, and my panic-room is almost finished! :D :D :D

I know one retired cop with three daughters, 18, 16 and 14, and another active duty cop also with three daughters, one is 27 and married, another in her 20's, also married I believe, and the other 18 and in college. They know what you mean VERY well, BP. It's been really funny listening to their stories and moods all this time.

You got it. But if we are having fun...

I can shoot back...

What a doll baby!
With a marpat nighty!
Tell your wife that she bakes good DD.

:D

Oh and I'm sitting here drinking a coffee and wrapping up your stuff!

Nice pics brother......I like the Marine Corps hat! The last thing I bought at the PX when I got out in 2004 before moving home was baby clothes with USMC on it. I figured I had to be the one to buy it, even though my wife and I don't have any children yet.......hopefully, next year!

Congrats to you and the Mrs., DevilDog.

She's a beauty! Keep the camera handy and enjoy every minute possible, they go by too fast. You've got a good looking family there DD. Good luck and God bless.

Having two daughters myself (20 and 13) I know what you have to look forward to. Enjoy her NOW!! The 13 yr. old likes to wear her little skirt with a shirt that says "Daddy's Little Girl" and boots. Already had to tell one kid to keep his hands to himself or loose them! Giving me more gray hair ... keep my Para P14 handy!
