What's this? It was 84 on Wednesday and tonight there is a freeze warning??? That's weather in good ol' South Carolina!

32 and below might be a little too cold to sit outside and have my cigar, even if it is beside the chiminea! Looks like I'll have to (a) smoke in the house or (b) go to the Wild Hare Sports Bar! Tonight I choose "B"! :D

That sounds like new england weather. Snows one day, 80 and sunny the next.

Same here in Da Burgh, hot out cold out, wait 10 minutes , hot again, this is the only place I have ever had to use the A/C durning the day & the furnace at night
thats why I have a smoking room !! Enjoy, Vince

It's the same here, Vince. There are days here during certain parts of the mid to late spring, early summer, late summer and early autumn when you can use air conditioning and have your furnace go on in the same day, hours apart. Isn't it great burning the candle at both ends? Not to mention the wallet!

:cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh: :rotflmao: :pumpkin: :cryinlaugh:

furnace??? what is that i understand air conditioning here in florida lol 82 and sunny today great weather

Furnance , a place that burns natural gas, oil, coal or wood, it makes heat, we pipe it through out our homes to keep it warm when the temp gets below 45 F. , BUT we dont have to worry about Hurricanes , swamps, Gators in the pool, or cutting grass in January ! hahaha Enjoy, Vince

Don't forget giant bugs, wild boa constrictors, floods, tornados, and wild teenagers on spring break!!

ahh but no mittens or heavy coats snow or ice just year round racing and golfing and fishing and oh yeah the girls of spring break woo hooo :D :D :D

I have been married for over 35 years, spring break would kill me hahaha, as far as the coats & mittens , well I just bought a new leather jacket , & gloves , but it is the price we pay for not having to cut grass all year long , I enjoy sitting in my smoking room, looking out at 8 inches of new fallen snow, & the teen ager from down the road out with a shovel cleaning my drive way , a pot of hot coffee a snifter of single malt , a fine cigar & some great music on the CD player , and as far as GOLF , well anytime I play a game of anything , when I hit the ball , some one hits it back or throws it back or kicks it back, I dont hit the ball & then chase it myself. Enjoy, Vince

I live on the back side of the wasatch front, elevation 5280. The weather here has been getting worse, got the plow on the bolens, plenty of cigars. I say bring it on. PS life is good.

R Rocks , welcome to the zoo !
Enjoy, Vince

Yeah, R Rocks, livin' in the Wasatch, big mountains, big snow, big locomotives. Home of one of the greatest locomotives of all-time, Union Pacific's mighty Gas Turbine.

The Wasatch.
