I guess that is how you spell them but after years of unexplained back attacks and spasms and two killer attacks this month, I have been diagnosed with stones. This will probably mean surgery but I cant see the specialist for 2 weeks. Not looking forward to surgery but not wanting to wait 2 weeks either for possible relief. My wife had gall bladder surgery last fall and it was not pleasant but I cant stand the pain and spasms when they kick in anymore.

Anyway just passing on some thoughts and maybe someone can share their experience with this problem and keep me in your thoughts when I have the surgery. Will let you know when it gets closer.

get more than one opinion- stones don't necessarily involve surgery anymore- our local hospital uses an ultrasound machine to dissolve gall, kidney, and a few others-
