While at the office today I tried out one of the new Guantanamera Cristales. While very mild, it wasn’t bad. In fact, it was pretty darn good. Timing was lousy since we have been knee deep in working on the website and I couldn’t exactly sit back and savor the taste. I'll have to try another one after some aging in the humidor.
This is supposed to be a new product from Cuba that originated in the Vuelta Arriba region. They come 25 to a box and are packaged in plastic tubes. They also have the ends cut, although I’m still not sure how much I like or dislike that. The box also doesn’t look like anything you may be used to seeing from Cuba.
